Blushing in Pink with PinkBlush.

Does anyone else out there feel like it has been Winter forever?? Seriously! I was so excited two weeks ago that Spring was finally coming when Chicago decided to surprise us with a warm, sunny weekend. I'm sure I bombarded you all with those beach photos! Well it was obviously just a tease as it is currently snowing outside as I type this. Well Winter, you have overstayed your welcome and I have grown tired of my Winter clothes. Jonny, Harry and I desperately want to get back outdoors and do all the fun stuff that Spring in Chicago has to offer. 

This long Winter and the four walls of our apartment all just leave me feeling like Rapunzel locked up in a tower so to make myself feel better, I decided to doll myself up with a bit of makeup, put on a dress with heels and go on an indoor date with the hubby without having to even leave the building! We snook upstairs for a game of pool, a glass of wine and then ordered some take-out Vietnamese. Loving Pho these days. It's the best! Pho Real! lol

I found it a great transitional piece in my wardrobe as just pairing it with black tights, a blazer and thigh-high boots make it really sexy to go out in during the winter spell and I know it will look great all Summer with flats and sandals too. For this date night, I paired it with pearls, a gold clutch and gold, heeled pumps.
